Tyler Jaynes is a Baton Rouge-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends the emotional depth of alternative rock with the warmth of acoustic songwriting.

Rooted in the rhythmic tradition of South Louisiana, Tyler brings a drummer’s instinct to everything he writes — a sensibility forged through years on the drumline at Jesuit High School and LSU, and behind the drum set in the church where he first learned to play.

Drawing early inspiration from the fingerpicked grooves of Dave Matthews, the sweeping atmospherics of early Coldplay, and the anthemic sincerity of Snow Patrol, Tyler developed a sound that is distinctly his own — original, hopeful, and built to move people.

He has released two full-length albums, Magnus and Color, showcasing the full range of his artistry. From the driving, high-energy anthems of “Spero” and “Flashing Lights” to the quietly intimate “There You Are” and “Beautiful,” Tyler’s live performances meet audiences wherever they are — filling a festival stage or holding a room still with just a voice and a guitar.
